A new store for the iconic chain restaurant
Hooters of America is set to open their newest restaurant in Mason, OH just north of Cincinnati within the week. As well as their standard building channel letters and door vinyls, Hooters had the challenge of repairing an old dilapidated pylon sign which was used several years ago by the previous tenant, and they turned to SignManager to accomplish the difficult task.
The pylon sign is a four-pole, flex-faced sign measuring 60 feet wide by 15 feet tall. The existing sign cabinet had sustained considerable damage and large portions of the sign were missing. The original sign was illuminated with fluorescent lights but SignManager proposed to change the lights out to LED Corn Lights.
Fabrication of replacement cabinet panels and creation of new flex faces soon began. Two cranes and a crew of five men began re-wiring the cabinet and installing the corn lights. New cabinet pieces were attached and the exterior of the cabinet was re-painted. The sign is located right beside Interstate 71 in Mason and now serves as a shining beacon for hungry diners letting them know that excellent food and world-class service is just beyond the off ramp.
SignManager would like to thank Hooters of America for the opportunity to refurbish this sign and provide new signage for their latest establishment. We have enjoyed our partnership with Hooters over the past several years and look forward to serving them for years to come.
